About Us

Lancaster City Restaurant Week began with a simple question: How can downtown restaurants come together to collaborate, connect, and grow?

That question sparked an early event near Penn Square called On the Square, which unknowingly laid the groundwork for what would become Lancaster City Restaurant Week. In 2014, that grassroots idea evolved into a biannual culinary celebration that continues to shape and elevate the City of Lancaster’s dining scene.

Today, Lancaster City Restaurant Week takes place twice a year — in the Spring and Fall — spotlighting the chefs, owners, and staff who turn Lancaster into a destination for unforgettable food experiences. Managed by a small but dedicated team, the event provides a free, accessible platform for City of Lancaster restaurants to share their creativity, flavors, and stories with everyone who lives, works, or is drawn to visit our culinary community.

At its heart, Lancaster City Restaurant Week is about collaboration, celebration, and supporting the people who make our local food scene thrive.
